[phc-general] build failure on OSX

Hi Tim,

With revision 1497, I've fixed all the warnings and errors given by
g++ (Ubuntu 20080404-0ubuntu1) 4.3.1 20080404 (prerelease)
[gcc-4_3-branch revision 133917]. Let me know if you still experience
problems.
